Foxglove Original Watercolour Painting - Wildflower Collection - Unframed

£60.00

Foxglove - one of the most Common Wildflowers seen across the British Countryside. Can be seen almost everywhere and are hardy enough to grow most places. The tall purple spires with bell shaped flowers are very valuable to wildlife, in particular many species of bees.

In the language of flowers, Foxglove means shallowness and insincerity, but despite this they do have magical meanings which are much happier. It is said that if you were to sleep with a flower on your finger and it was still on in the morning, your wishes would come true.

This is an original watercolour painting on 300gsm Arches cold pressed rough paper created by myself in my studio in West Yorkshire.

Dimensions are 23cm/9 Inches by 31cm/ 12 Inches.

This painting is unframed.
