Summer Days and Scented Gardens
I have been really enjoying the warm sunshine filled days. My garden has sprung further into life and every day I’m seeing things grow and get closer to blooming. My Kew Rambler is on the cusp of flowering and I can’t wait for it to be covered with bees while sit and take in its subtle scent.
My garden is filled with Roses which makes it perfect that they are coming into bloom just in time for June where they represent the month. A month of love, passion and joy to enjoy.
Hi there and welcome to Kathleen Crossley Art.
I’m Kathleen, a Watercolour and Illustration artist based in the heart of west Yorkshire and my passion is all thing nature and botanical. I’ve been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember, and I have always gained my biggest inspiration from flowers growing in my garden, rugged landscapes and trees looking moody on a rainy, dull day. Each one can evoke a difference emotion and they also hold certain meanings which I have really enjoyed looking into, and then trying to capture them in the artwork I’ve been doing.
I have a wonderful array of cards, prints, original paintings as well as decorations available in my shop, as well as a portfolio for you to look through so you can see how my inspirations develop, change and merge.
