The Pumpkin Patch

September brings the first of the Ber months and with it cooler mornings, darker evenings and everything cosy and autumnal everywhere. Pumpkin patches will be opening towards the end of this month and mushroom will be sprouting up on woodland walks. These have been the biggest inspirations for my newest collection “The Pumpkin Patch”. A collection of prints, stickers and decorations for you to add to your home this autumn. The collection will be available from Friday 13th September at 6pm, so set your watches and reminders for then!

Hi there and welcome to Kathleen Crossley Art.

I’m Kathleen, a Watercolour and Illustration artist based in the heart of west Yorkshire and my passion is all thing nature and botanical.  I’ve been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember, and I have always gained my biggest inspiration from flowers growing in my garden, rugged landscapes and trees looking moody on a rainy, dull day.  Each one can evoke a difference emotion and they also hold certain meanings which I have really enjoyed looking into, and then trying to capture them in the artwork I’ve been doing.

I have a wonderful array of cards, prints, original paintings as well as decorations available in my shop, as well as a portfolio for you to look through so you can see how my inspirations develop, change and merge.

As always, if you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to get in contact, either via the Contact page, or on Instagram and Facebook, both of which have updates of my current work and my life as an artist.

I hope enjoy my little world here.
